1. Solange ein grüner Pfeil gezeigt wird, darf kein anderer Verkehrsstrom Grün haben, der den durch den Pfeil gelenkten kreuzt; auch darf Fußgängern, die in der Nähe den gelenkten Verkehrsstrom kreuzen, nicht durch Markierung eines Fußgängerüberwegs Vorrang gegeben werden. Schwarze Pfeile auf Grün dürfen nicht verwendet werden.

"In a three-colour system, the red, amber and green lights may be replaced by arrows of the same colour on a black background. When lighted up, these arrows have the same significance as the lights, but the prohibition or authorization is restricted to the direction or directions indicated by the arrow or arrows. Arrows signifying that traffic may or may not proceed straight ahead shall point upwards. Black arrows on a red, amber or green background may be used. These arrows have the same significance as theabove-mentioned arrows."
Vyhláška 30/2020 tento rozpor odstránila, hoci si nechcem predstaviť toho samovraha, ktorý by pri návrhu svetelnej signalizácie využil možnosti dané dohovorom, obzvlášť nie v krajine, kde je úroveň vodičstva na samom dne, vodiči živia legendy prezentované za ustanovenia a značkári sú schopný vytvoriť jednosmernú slepú ulicu, značky určujúce prioritu (ktorých unikátny tvar má svoj význam) drbnú na štvorcovú neonovú tabuľku (teda vlastne všetko) a pre polovicu značiek nepoznajú význam.
