Reply on: hello #28013:
I think you have to be attending a full-time study on some Slovak high-school or college to be able to buy discounted student tickets. In that case, you have to fill in a form (you can either fetch it in some DPB outlet or you can find it here online on http://www.dpb.sk/predajne/doklad1_dpb.doc) and have it signed and stamped by your school's department of study. Then you will have to get a chip card in selected DPB outlets (Hodzovo namestie, Obchodna, Novy most, Olejkarska, Mlynarovicova, Gastanovy hajik) and buy a prepaid ticket on it.Some Slovak universities use ISIC cards with integrated memory chips as student IDs. If you are a student of such school, you don't have to fill in anything or buy an additional card -- you can buy discounted prepaid tickets directly on that student card. Just visit any DPB outlet. Plain ISIC cards won't do in this csae.
Off campus students and students of other than Slovak schools aren't entitled to discounts in Bratislava public transport.
(Someone please correct me if I'm wrong in anything.)

Pokial vychytaju konstrukcne nedostatky, tak by to bol celkom dobry bus do BA. Predpokladam, ze cena bude dost nizka. Vzdy by bolo mensie zlo novy SOR (s ktorym uz maju v kacerove ake-take skusenosti), ako kupovat nieco uplne ine. Osobne by som zobral do Krasnan aspon 20ks (samozrejme by museli byt s normalnou prevodovkou atp.)
