Mňa by zaujímalo, prečo sa tieto veci nedozviem zo slovenských médií, keď v domovských krajinách sú v serióznych denníkoch na úrovni Sme alebo Pravdy na titulke. Pamätám si časy, keď tie trendy neboli tak pozitívne a vtedy sa takéto titulky z domovských denníkov preberali okamžite.Očakával by som, že otvorím SME a tam bude v rámci minúty po minúte titulok, že Británia ruší COVID passy. Otvorím SME a namiesto toho vidím komentáre o vydržaní a spoločenskej zodpovednosti a kritiky takého kalibru, ako keby Slováci mohli za pandémiu v celosvetovom merítku.
Vyzerá to tak, ako keby sa naše médiá z dobrých správ ani netešili.

- The emails show that by February 2 2020, scientists were already trying to shut down the debate into the laboratory leak theory. An email from Dr Ron Fouchier to Sir Jeremy said: “Further debate about such accusations would unnecessarily distract top researchers from their active duties and do unnecessary harm to science in general and science in China in particular.” Dr Collins, former director of the NIH, replied to Sir Jeremy stating: “I share your view that a swift convening of experts in a confidence-inspiring framework is needed or the voices of conspiracy will quickly dominate, doing great potential harm to science and international harmony.” Institutions which held the emails have repeatedly resisted efforts to publish their content.
A úplná topka: The University of Edinburgh recently turned down an Freedom of Information request from The Telegraph asking to see Prof Rambaut’s replies, claiming “disclosure would be likely to endanger the physical or mental health and safety of individuals”.
Takže tak. O tom že laboratórny pôvod je kredibilná hypotéza sa vedelo od úplného začiatku a z politických dôvodov sa to ututlávalo. To nie je konšpiračná teória, ale logický záver z e-mailov ktorých obsah zverejnili americké úrady na základe slobodného prístupu k informáciám.
Úprimne, je to horšie než som čakal. Moja teória vždy bola že išlo iba o zjednodušené formulácie. Ak však skutočne od takpovediac prvého dňa pracovali s variantom umelého pôvodu a napriek tomu vytrvalo tvrdili že to *nie je možné*, tak to je some next level sh*t.
