Sightseeing double-decker bus route in Bratislava (15th – 28 Jul 2013)

Free sightseeing bus route in the city center will be in service from 15th July 2013 for two weeks. The route will be in service during the tests of double-decker bus Troliga Bus Sirius by Bratislava Transport Company (DPB). Double-decker will operate from Jesenského street (stop next to historic building of Slovak national theatre) via Štúrova, Pribinova, Olejkárska, Landererova, Karadžičova, 29. augusta, Kollárovo nám., Nám. 1. mája, Hodžovo nám., Suché mýto, Staromestská, Rázusovo nábr. and Mostová back to Jesenského street.

Stops on the "double-decker" route:

  • Jesenského (tram stop next to historic building of Slovak National Theatre) 
  • Nové SND (bus stop in front of Eurovea shopping center, Pribinova street, route 28)
  • Cintorínska (bus/trolleybus stop in front of historic St. Andrew's Cemetery, routes 206 208 X13)
  • Špitálska (bus/trolleybus stop in front of Medical Garden, routes 206 208 X13
  • Kollárovo nám. (bus/trolleybus stop in front of Slovak University of Technology, routes 80 206 207 208 212 X13
  • Hodžovo nám. (trolleybus stop in front of Grassalkovich (Presidential) palace, routes 203 206 207 212)
  • Zochova (bus stop in front of Falkensteiner hotel, routes 31 39 80 83 84 93 94)
  • Most SNP (Danube embankment, bus routes 28 50 70)

You can get on and get off on any of these stops and you can travel for free.

Departures from Jesenského will be daily every hour between 12:00 and 19:00.

Double-decker bus Sirius made in 2010 by Slovakian bus manufacturer Troliga Bus is in service today only in Poprad (Slovak city in High Tatras). The second manufactured double-decker Sirius (in red painting) is used as presentation vehicle.
