Belehrad:
Some development regarding the planned purchase of 400 new buses for the city's main public transport firm - the bids for the first 180 articulated buses, expected to be on the streets by Spring 2013, are now in - prices are in euros:

Quote:
- 41.400.000, not including VAT – „Ašok Lejland” (India)
- 54.006.196 – „Iveko Irisbus” (Czech Republic)
- 57.562.954,73 – „Solaris” (Poland)
- 60.409.895,12 – „Man” (Germany)
- 62.994.231, 59 – „Volvo bus corp.” (Sweden)

Two other firms have also placed their bids but failed to indicate their price:

„Ikarbus” (Serbia)
„GAZ Group” (Russia)
Following an evaluation, decision will be made in the coming days/weeks and it has been said that the lowest bid will not necessarily be the winning bid.
