Cookies Policy

Directive 2002/58/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector sets condition by using cookies in communication between internet browser and a website.

According to the directive, using of cookies would be allowed if certain conditions are met. "...users are provided with clear and precise information (...) about the purposes of cookies or similar devices so as to ensure that users are made aware of information being placed on the terminal equipment they are using. Users should have the opportunity to refuse to have a cookie or similar device stored on their terminal equipment." Due to these conditions user is required to agree with using of cookies.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another. Most big websites do this too.

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • remembering of last visited website city (section)
  • remembering of selected left menu item
  • journey planner preferences
  • gallery view settings
  • highlighting of new messages in discussions
  • prevent duplicate anonymous voting
  • user login (only for registered users)
  • third-party use, especially Google (Analytics, AdSense)

Without cookies using it is not possible to login registered users. Other services can be used fully or partially.

We use session cookies, which are deleted after browser closing, and permanent cookies which stay saved until their expiration after browser closing. We use first-party and third-party cookies (e. g. Google). Cookies can be accessed by mentioned parties and are not used for other purposes.

Cookie usage consent can be revoked at any time by deleting cookies from your internet browser. Details about deleting of cookies are listen in your browser documentation.

How to control cookies

You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
